I couldn’t believe my luck when I heard that Gordon Giltrap was booked as the guest performer for the 21st annual UK gathering of the RMMGA newsgroup in May 2018. It was an absolute delight to be able to spend some time with Gordon, hearing him play during the concert on the Saturday night and also give a workshop in the afternoon. Gordon is a very humble man, very gracious and is filled with an inner strength that comes through whether he’s playing music or just drinking tea and talking.
