Rosie Heydenrych of Turnstone Guitars had been on my radar for a while, so naturally I was jumping for joy when I heard that she was coming to the tenth annual gathering of the Acoustic Soundboard UK forum!

I had played one of Rosie’s guitars before, so I knew that their quality was superb. But now I was going to have a chance to try a few more AND get to meet Rosie in person. I was a happy Camser!
We sat down in the dining room of the Imperial Crown Hotel in Halifax and had a good old chinwag. I did record video, but I’m afraid that it didn’t come out very well. It’s all part of the learning curve!

Turnstone Guitars TG Model
This is the Turnstone Guitars TG model that we discussed during the interview.
It has a western red cedar soundboard and bog oak back and sides and is an absolute delight to play.
I’m super grateful to Rosie for taking some time out and having a conversation with me. It was a delight to meet her and I am sure that there will be many more conversations to come.
And you never know, I might just end up with a Turnstone guitar in my collection!
